Rebirth

Started working on this illustration/pin-up today with plans to put it on shirts and maybe prints. I have yet to figure out how to colour it. I'm not colour blind, though I can only think and dream in black and white, which is probably why I'm so bad with colouring stuff.

New upcoming comic, Crybaby

Hello! I'm currently working on a new short-story comic, called Crybaby which is set in 16th century South America. Below are two draft/penciled pages from it, Page 2 and Page 3 respectively.

Random Sketch: Boy sitting over the side of a bridge with a burning note

This started off as a loose idea for a sketch of a boy holding something to wind down for the night. The end result turned out a little more detailed than my random sketches usually are and am quite pleased with it. It’s a pity I drew it on the back of a used text printout among some scribbled notes. I wonder why he set his grocery list on fire?

Dogs ate my homework

The way I drew dogs, or any other animal actually, always turned out looking like a naked skinny guy on fours. So I finally got around to practice how to draw dogs that look like dogs. I like dogs. But I have a cat.

Fast car, dead-beat driver and air time one page comic

A one-page comic I’m working on right now and I might get it done over the weekend. I didn’t notice it at first but when I asked myself what is the premise of this short tale, it turned out to be almost a mini version of the Vanishing Point movie sans the illegal stuff and funky DJ (all the good parts).

I've yet to come up with a cool title for it, maybe you guys can suggest one. Just think of a fast car, dead-beat driver dude and big-air time. Go Kowalski manga style!

Another One Bites The Dust

This was from some concept sketches for a character of a comic I'm planning on doing in the near future. Somehow he turned out looking exactly like Himura of Eyeshield 21. So into the trash bin you go and back to the drawing board for me.
